#45 - A life of Bowhunting with Ben Salleras

This week host Matty is joined by Ben Salleras! Ben is one of Australia’s most travelled bowhunters when it comes to hunting around the world. The boys dive into Ben’s origins and pull apart the turning points of his hunting while growing up around some of the greats in the early days of bowhunting in Australia. They talk about the strong desire/calling to learn of or history and understanding your home land. And, in turn the benefits of learning ‘bush craft’ from being in the wilderness and walking the bush with a bow! Matty and Ben talk about the maturing progression that bowhunters go through… This is very insightful as they both agree it’s like life and something you can never “master” but instead always pursue. Benny talks of some of his favourite hunts that his been on abroad as well as his dream hunts that he’s yet to do.
