This question created differing responses from people who have been in this situation - so how should we respond? Miranda Bain is the Therapy Services Director at Act for Kids; a psychologist who works to help children and families going through abuse and trauma. Miranda has practiced in the USA as well as Australia and New Zealand, and since moving to Australia has focused on the impact of abuse and trauma on children.
