Esther Farmer has spent more than 50 years of her life as an activist, organizing with the Black Panthers, fighting for racial equity on college campuses, and advocating a free Palestinian state.Esther is on the leadership team of the New York branch of Jewish Voice for Peace, which has been one of the groups leading the peaceful protests against the Israeli genocide. She was part of the demonstration recently where Jewish elder women chained themselves to the White House fence to demand action from President Biden.She is also the editor of the book A Land with a People: Palestinians and Jews Confront Zionism, which is a collection of essays, poetry, and art.
