Now, as a mother to three remarkable women, she's continually inspired by their spirit, which fuels her determination to be the best version of herself. Surviving cancer, stroke, and a heart transplant taught her to cherish every moment and embrace adventure as a dog mom, fisherwoman, and avid hiker. She's also a resilience coach, guiding others through life's challenges with wit, kindness, and generosity. A master chef known for crafting delectable dishes that nourish body and soul, she's also passionate about hiking, fly fishing, reading, writing, and exploring new horizons. Described as resilient, witty, and authentic, she's a beacon of strength and courage, facing life's storms with grace and determination. With an unyielding optimism and thirst for adventure, she believes in the power of kindness and human connection, guided by the mantra, "Embrace life, cherish every moment, and never lose sight of the blessings that surround you." Jessica's Notes from the Sidelines: We need to be mindful of others because maybe they're going through something and not just deliberately being unkind. Not only should we have compassion for others, but we should have patience and compassions for ourselves. Be curious -- ask yourself, "Would it be possible... I wonder what would happen if I did this?" Make sure to prioritize yourself and communicate your needs to others. Remember, it's not happening TO ME, but FOR ME. Maybe there's a lesson and it will make me more grateful. To accept lack of control and practice patience, feel the frustration in your body, find something grounding, and go back to basics and feel grateful and accomplished, and then FEEL JOY. Gratitude + Joy = Resilience I can control how I feel and show up. Do the basics: gratitude journal, set intention for the day, and see joy and do joyful things It's not selfish to prioritize yourself; don't feel guilty about it.
