Summary
Original Air Date: Jan 13, 2021*. I'm so grateful to my coach Faith Mariah (Blogging Breakthroughs podcaster) for gifting our community with this phrase. It's changed my mindset completely. Anytime I feel I'm in the vibe of confusion, I refer to this phrase "being confused is a choice" which means to me that there is an answer I'm not looking for. I could know a solution but I'm not pursuing it at the moment. Or, there is an area of my life where I need to learn more, perhaps develop a skill, or get help from someone who has that skill already. There are so many options for all of life's confusions. Maybe I'm not asking the right question or googling enough, but my answer IS SOMEWHERE. And this phrase always reminds me of that.

Episode Two- Boys, Engines and Underwear
Release Date: 08/01/2021
Description: In this episode, I take you through a day in the life of a girl taking Beginner's Auto Shop. Which is essentially the Groundhog's Day of the Worst Day Ever. Content warning(s): a little bit of cussing; a lot a bit of sexist, gender stuff. To make it worth your time, I included lots of feel good stories about how to advocate for yourself and when you'll know friendships are going to last. Hope you enjoy! The song of the episode is "Fly" by Sugar Ray. If you haven't heard of Sugar Ray, please, at the very least, listen to that tune for reference. It defined a whole generation. I wish I was kidding. TYSM!

Brew's Cafe- Episode 49 Raymond Brown
Release Date: 11/30/2022
Description: We all remember. For prior generations it was D-Day, or the day Kennedy was shot, or the moon landing. But for anyone alive on September 11, 2001, we remember where we were. What we were doing, how we felt. For Ray Brown, though, it's not a memory of sitting in a coffee bar uptown, or by the pool in Amagansett. Ray remembers that day very differently than the rest of us. Ray comes from a long line of firefighters, and firefighters called to duty on the biggest of days. His grandfather was a firefighter on D-Day, a fact unknown to Ray and his brothers (both firefighters) until long after his grandfather had died. Ray's father retired as chief of all NYFD rescue companies (that's a big deal, FYI). So it was truly an honor to have Ray share his memories of growing up in a household where becoming a NYC firefighter was practically preordained, and how he spent that fateful day in lower Manhattan, the years leading up to it and the years since.
