6- End of Year Updates and Weekly Update (May 27-31, 2019)

from Hey Mr. Gray · host Mr. Gray

Dear Parents, Listen to my announcements in podcast form here: anchor.fm/gray6thgrade or on Apple Podcasts here.  Get notified when I send a new podcast by following these instructions. It was so wonderful to see you and your children at Open House last night to celebrate all their hard work in sixth grade. As promised, all of the photos and videos I’ve taken throughout the year can be found and downloaded here. Look for the down-pointing arrow to download. The video from last night is at the very bottom. Mr. Battenfield just sent out this letter with important information about all the end of year activities coming up. It has the schedule and important information especially about promotion. The letter also explains: The cost for these school-sponsored sixth grade end-of-the-year activities which include Soak City Waterpark, tile painting, and the Mediterranean luncheon is a $35.00 donation. This amount is actually much less than the actual cost of the events due to the fundraising efforts of the 6th Grade Parent Committee to defray the expense. Please note, that while it is permissible under state law for Woodbury to collect fees for field trips and activities, contributions are voluntary and all students will be allowed to participate regardless of whether a donation is made. Please make your check payable to Woodbury Elementary School and return it to your child’s teacher by Wednesday, May 29th. You may also pay through MySchoolBucks account clicking here.    We are going to Soak City for a field trip on Tuesday June 4th. In order to attend please sign the permission slip here. Congratulations to softball teams 4, 6, 7, and 8 who made the playoffs of our lunchtime softball league. They will be playing in the playoffs next Tuesday and Thursday at Lunch.

The True Family Men Podcast was born to give men a platform to share their testimonies of how Jesus Christ has brought them out of life greatest challenges and how to begin the healing process. We as men face many problems in life from lust, pornography addiction, drug and alcohol addiction, anger, stress, false sense of manliness, the list is endless, but through a strong community of believers and the redeeming power of christ's blood we can overcome!
