Nadat het gelukt is om Jacob's WhatsApp-berichten te herstellen en Lex nogmaals oud-collega’s benadert, komen Arthur en Lex samen om een reconstructie te maken van Jacobs laatste maanden. Arthur denkt te weten wat er is gebeurd, maar Lex wil zonder sluitend bewijs die conclusie niet trekken. Terwijl hun onderzoek muurvast lijkt te zitten, komt Jacobs vader onverwacht iemand tegen die misschien voor de cruciale doorbraak kan zorgen.
