6. Position Yourself in Praise

from Lift Up Your Head · host Megan West

Praise & worship are some of our greatest spiritual weapons. In the valley and wilderness seasons, like King David in the Psalms, we can learn to praise God the most. We are created to worship & praise the Lord even in the hardest of seasons. In this week's episode, Megan shares personal experience praising God through the valleys and how God strengthened her from the inside out. We take a look at the posture of King David and Mary and are reminded the Lord fights our greatest battles (of the mind and the heart) while we are in positions of praise.  Take the praise challenge this week! Spend 10-20 minutes a day, undistracted, and intentionally postured in praising the Lord. Read through Psalm 100 and worship the Lord to your favorite worship songs. You can find some of my go to worship songs on my Spotify Playlist.  Get my weekly dose of encouragement – You'll receive a note from me to you in your inbox on Tuesdays that will encourage & spur you on in your week!
