65. Empowering Women in the Supply Chain

She oversees supply chain transformation projects in several African countries with a key focus on Nigeria, Azuka is an expert in engaging governments and is currently serving as a thought partner and advisor to national ministries of health in Africa. She is a leader in facilitating private sector collaborations with public sector and has done this on platforms such as the World Economic Forum. Currently, she has pioneered the setting up of a supply chain membership platform for the private sector in Nigeria that has strengthened private sector spending for public health.  She has over 15 years’ experience working on several international and local development projects and has successfully supported the institutionalization of sustainable solutions in public health delivery in Nigeria. Project experiences range across a number of different donor groups and implementing partners including; BMGF, USAID, GAVI and The Global Fund. A proud Canon Collins Scholarship recipient (2011- 2013); Commonwealth Scholar (2013); and member West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacist. Received training from prestigious world class institutes namely Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cornell University and University of Liverpool School of Public Health. She is currently taking a Financing course at the Edinburgh Business School, UK.
