65: The Changeling

This week Bryan and Dave find themselves comfortably back in the pocket with 1980's high-gothic haunted house picture where we're expected to believe that old man George C. Scott was also a father to an 8 year old girl. Based on the extremely dubious "true story" of the film's writer, The Changeling is a frustrating experience that combines compelling haunted house filmcraft with a clumsy script that can't decide where it's going or what it's trying to do. Held aloft by horror fans for years as a truly spooky and unsettling haunted house/ghost mystery movie, we break it down and find that it may not be the movie that we remember. That said, is it good?
