The Pastor of the Elmont, NY assembly delivered a sober entreat to the saints of God gathered to celebrate Thanksgiving. He reminded us we live in a society that rejects the laws and morality of Almighty God. The fact that we seek to worship God in Spirit and truth sets us apart from the ungodly majority and apostate religion. While acknowledging that we live in a world that requires economic and social interaction, we must choose to lay up treasures in heaven for ourselves, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. Our future is not in this present world but in the Kingdom of God.
