It was difficult for Anna to reconcile in her young mind how God could allow such despair. Anna threw her Bible away and almost threw away her life. God never walked away. Anna did. However, God would confront the enemy within Anna which ended up being herself. A series of events would help Anna identify that enemy. Just as Jesus was crucified and rose again, Anna experienced a spiritual crucifixion in her own life.
