#7 - Marie Tourell Søderberg - Creativity and bringing the formless into form

from Conversations with Shaldon Fitzgerald - A Spiritual approach to Therapy · host Christine Børge

Welcome to Conversations with Shaldon Fitzgerald - A Spiritual approach to Therapy. IN THIS LAST EPISODE, I have invited my producer on this podcast, Marie Tourell Søderberg, to join our conversation.  The three of us will investigate the relationship between the body, the spirit and creativity.  Marie is a person who immerses herself in what it means to be a creative person on many different levels. In addition to being the co-creator and producer on this podcast, she's an actor. She's also the co-author of a book that she's writing together with a professor from the university about the interaction between creativity, play and creating. She also has a production company where she is currently working on writing a movie script developed on a completely new working method - a working method Marie and her partner, Amanda Collin, has based on the woman's menstrual cycle. Furthermore she's created her own podcast about co-creating. So this is just to mention some of the things Marie does - and if one has to ask a person about process and creativity and creating - then it would be Marie.  She is also one of Shaldon's clients and use his teachings in her work, whatever it is as a writer, an actor, a producer, or co-creator.  Welcome to this last episode, this time around anyway, on Conversations with Shaldon Fitzgerald - A Spiritual approach to Therapy.  Enjoy! ABOUT ME:  My name is Christine. I live in Copenhagen with my husband and two grown up daughters. I'm 49 years old and work as an actor here in Copenhagen, and has done that for the last 25 years.  Three years ago I was hit by a midlife crisis that made me reach out for some guidance to bring my stressed system in balance.  A good friend of mine advised me to talk to a spiritual therapist named Shaldon Fitzgerald -  and so I did. I was so curious - what exactly is spiritual therapy, I thought. I soon learned that Shaldon's therapy was something about contacting the soul through meditation, and through this, achieving an inner peace and connection with life, which will release one's potential as a human being here on earth. I've now had spiritual therapy sessions with Shaldon once a week over the last three years.  In the weekly sessions, I stabilise and train how to let go of the ego's grip on me and thereby give space for the soul and life within. Because of these sessions, I've gained a far more sustainable approach to myself and my work and my surroundings  And this is what I want to share with you all.
