De wereld zal haar leren kennen als Frida Kahlo.Vandaag is Frida een icoon: bloemen in het haar, felle kleuren, grote sieraden en een blik die niemand ontwijkt. Maar achter dat herkenbare beeld zit een veel complexer leven. Frida groeit op in de Casa Azul, krijgt als kind polio, wil eigenlijk arts worden en raakt op haar achttiende zwaargewond bij een busongeluk dat haar lichaam voorgoed beschadigt.In deze aflevering: Frida Kahlo vóór en achter het icoon.
