#73 - Tom Paxton

Tom Paxton is a folk singer-songwriter and one of the most enduring and important voices in American music. The songs he wrote have found their way to other countries and have been sung in different languages. A Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, his most well known songs include "The Last Thing on My Mind," "Bottle of Wine," Whose Garden Was this" and "The Marvelous Toy." His songs have been recorded by Pete Seeger, Bob Dylan, Judy Collins, Joan Baez, Harry Belafonte, Peter, Paul and Mary, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, and John Denver just to name a few.
