78: Let Them Think What They Want & Laugh It Off
from The Daily Shot of Catspiration · host Cat Storing
Good morning! Today, I wanted to share a thought about dealing with unwanted opinions. It's remarkable how so many feel entitled to have an opinion about us, right? I've come across many instances where people share others' opinions about me, and I've realized something - it's just information. It doesn't make me better, happier, or add any real value to my life. So, I've decided to take it all with a pinch of humor and a shrug. My mom used to tell me that people are always looking at you, forming opinions based on how you choose to interact with yourself. So, I've chosen to laugh it off and not let it rattle me. If someone wants to tell me something, they can, but I don't need others to tell me what somebody else thinks. It's really liberating to embrace the idea that others' opinions are just that - their opinions. So, if you've ever found yourself in a similar situation, I hope you remember to laugh it off and say, "That's silly," or, "That's not true," or even, "Maybe it's true, and that's okay." It's all about how YOU choose to react to it. Have you experienced this too? How did you handle it? I'd love to hear your thoughts! Let's support each other in navigating these moments. Just remember, you're doing great! Golden by Mona Wonderlick" is under a Attribution 3.0 Unported (CC BY 3.0) license Music promoted by BreakingCopyright: • 'Golden' by Mona Wonderlick 🇦🇺 | Vlog...
