REBUILD OUR CHURCH - Through the Formation of Women January & Angela Our church is suffering and women are suffering lives of quiet desperation. Many of our youth are leaving. Our domestic church has become a victim of the busy-ness and the lack of moral standards that is permeating our culture. Mothers are giving from an empty cup and it is costing us our peace of mind. Stress and anxiety have become a new norm for so many women and our marriages are suffering. Women are called to bring life, but how do you give life when you feel like you have no life to give. And yet, we need women more than ever to lead us out of this darkness and into the light of Christ. Physics of the Interstellar Medium « Federica Giovanni Covone The course “Physics of the Interstellar Medium” covers the basic physical processes that regulate the state of diffuse gas in, around and between galaxies. Therefore, we will extend our attention also the intergalactic medium, since this is a very vital research area in modern astrophysics.Topics covered include the chemical composition and the phases of the interstellar medium, the equilibrium of gaseous nebulae, the formation of the emission and absorption lines, the properties of the interstellar dust, the molecular gas and the process of star formation, supernova explosions, galactic superwinds. We will also discuss the observational techniques that allow us to investigate the physics of the interstellar and intergalactic media. In particular, we will address the formation of emission and absorption spectral lines (at UV, optical and infrared wavelengths). The goal is to develop the background required to understand current research on the interplay between star formation and cos The Heart of a Story: Saint Stories and Classic Tales for Tender Minds Niki Montecillo Welcome to The Heart of a Story: Saint Stories and Classic Tales for Tender Minds. On this podcast, we tell saints stories for young children.
