My Secret Life With An Eating Disorder Maureen Kritzer-Lange MSW, LCSW I'm Maureen Kritzer-Lange a Psychoanalyst specializing in Eating Disorders (The Queen of Self Esteem & creator of the “Don't Trust the Mirror” Movement). This is my personal story of my struggles with an eating disorder. I thought it would take my life. I had nobody to talk to so I began journaling while in high school. In my podcast I share stories from this journal and then use my psychoanalyst perspective to reflect on my “younger” self. My life mission is to help women get their lives back. I lived it, I breathed it and now I have the courage to talk about it. Not Another Diet Mickey Marie NO!!!! Not another diet option! That’s what we all think every time we look in the mirror or step on the scale. I am Mickey Marie an overweight GenX valley girl tired of living in the Double Wide Side over the rainbow. Beyond Streets Beyond Streets Podcast Rethinking How We Move, Build, and LiveBeyond Streets explores the everyday impact of transportation on our lives, neighborhoods, and futures. More than roads and rails, transportation is a mirror of our values — safety, connection, opportunity, and access. In each episode, we go beyond the headlines and into communities, talking with organizers, policymakers, builders, and residents who are reimagining what it means to move through the world. From housing to health, climate to equity, we uncover how smarter, people-first transportation can unlock better futures — and what’s standing in the way. If you're ready to ask bold questions, challenge ineffective systems, and explore what's truly possible, you're in the right place. General American Pronunciation – Robby's Accent Adventure General American Pronunciation – Robby's Accent Adventure Robby Kukurs from Accent Adventure reveals how any non-native English speaker can learn to speak with American and also British English pronunciation by following a few simple rules and doing plenty of spoken English practicing! Robby strongly believes – which is backed up by his personal accent acquisition experience – that there’s no such a thing as accent reduction in the common sense of the word whereby we’re looking into the mirror for hours on end while trying to change our inherited sound production mechanisms and tongue placement when speaking. Instead, we simply have to repeat entire sentences by focusing on certain sounds and then the whole accent learning thing becomes so much easier!
