Jahrelang hat Gwen starke Schmerzen. Der Grund: Endometriose. Viele Jahre lebt sie mit dem „Chamäleon der Gynäkologie“ zusammen ohne jedoch von diesem zu wissen. Ihre Diagnose bekommt sie erst, nachdem sie sich operieren lässt. Nachdem die Krankheit nicht nur innerlich Narben bei ihr verursacht hat, sondern auch drei äußerliche Narben. Diese sind zwar nur sehr klein, inzwischen kaum noch zu sehen.
