82: Accept Their Limitations and Set Yourself Free

from The Daily Shot of Catspiration · host Cat Storing

Good morning! How are you? I hope you're having an amazing day because guess what? I am! Today, I want to share a realization that I had while I was meditating, and it really put me in a good mood and helped me let go of a lot of negativity. I realized that people do what they do because they give what they could or what they had. When you grasp this, you realize that most people are not evil; they're just limited or have reached their upper limit. It's like an 'aha' moment - they gave me what they could, and maybe what I wanted was beyond their capacity. It doesn't make me or them evil; it just makes us human. It means that they may not be the right fit for me, but it puts things into perspective. You don't have to stay angry with them or resentful; you can just recognize that they gave what they had, and that's okay. It allows you to move on and seek what you deserve elsewhere. Viewing people from this perspective frees you from anger and resentment, and it fosters compassion for those doing their very best with the knowledge and capacity they have. We are evolving beings, and kindness and understanding go a long way. Let's be kind to one another in real life, and if someone isn't the right fit, let them go with compassion, recognizing that they did their very best Golden by Mona Wonderlick" is under a Attribution 3.0 Unported (CC BY 3.0) license Music promoted by BreakingCopyright: • 'Golden' by Mona Wonderlick 🇦🇺 | Vlog...
