From Chaos to Calm - The Power of Mindfulness & Meditation with Kadam Adam Starr
Release Date: 09/11/2023
Description: In this episode, my special guest is international Buddhist Teacher, Kadam Adam Starr, resident Teacher at the Tara Kadampa Meditation Centre in Templeogue in Dublin. Kadam Adam has been teaching Buddhist meditation, mindfulness and Buddhist teachings since 2004 in Ireland, the UK and Europe and studied under the renowned Buddhist master, teacher and author, the Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, one of the great Tibetan Buddhist meditation masters. Prior to his calling to teaching, Kadam Adam was a director in an international media company, in the area of mergers and acquisitions and in this special episode, he speaks to the practical and spiritual aspects of managing stress and anxiety through mindfulness and meditation. We explore many topics including how to unlock meditation and mindfulness to alleviate stress, cultivate self-awareness and inner wisdom which can in turn create lasting positive change in one's life. Kadam Adam explains how meditation, mindfulness and Buddhist wisdom can help navigate the challenges we all meet as we make our way through life and the lessons apply to everyone, not just practicing Buddhists. Kadam Adam was also kind enough to do a 15 minute meditation at the end of the podcast, and I am very grateful for his time in coming to Cork to speak with me. For news of classes, meditation retreats and events all over Ireland (and further afield), check out the links below. Having attended many of the meditation sessions myself since 2018, I can highly recommend them! https://meditateinireland.com/ Dublin Events: https://meditateinireland.com/dublin/ Cork / Galway & Limerick Events: https://meditateinireland.com/ireland/ International: https://kadampa.org/
