We discuss Christina’s healing journey that led to her spiritual awakening. Her deep, trusting spiritual connection has created a sense of peace, trust, and safety within her body. She has learned to surrender her fears and irrational stories, created by her ego, to her higher power so she can come back into alignment with herself. Feeling safe and at peace is required for healing. It shifts your autonomic nervous system from the sympathetic state, the fight or flight/survival mode to the parasympathetic/rest and digest state where your body can repair itself. In the rest and digest state, Your body can fully relax and focus its energy away from looking for danger and preparing yourself to fight off an attacker, to focusing your energy on healing. There may be some spiritual topics we discuss in this episode that may challenge your beliefs and trigger some people.
