Special announcement coming soon - be the first to know by joining the Quietmind Community at http://www.quietmind.yoga/ Have you ever been burned out, irritable, felt inflammation, heartburn or had rashes on your skin? Or have you ever felt quick to anger, frustration, irritability or annoyance? These are signs of excess heat in the body - what is known in Ayurveda as Pitta Dosha. Today begins Season 7 of the Quietmind Yoga Podcast and we will address the transition from the summer season into the fall by reducing excess heat in the body. Ayurveda teaches that "all diseases start in the transition of the seasons" - so this week is an important time to stay hydrated, well rested and do your practices that help you feel your best. Pitta accumulates in the summer, but it can become excessive any time of year, and this is a practice you can come back to any time you need to regulate the Pitta Dosha in your body.  If you like this podcast, subscribe, leave a review and check out my other podcasts: Quietmind Astrology and the Yoga Teacher Training podcast at http://www.quietmind.yoga/podcasts   Thanks for listening!
