96. How to Get Out of your Pit

Are you stuck in a pit? Whether it is grief, depression, anxiety, fear, disappointment, or your own sin that has you sinking into a dark pit - we want you to know you do not have to stay there. Satan wants you to believe you are stuck forever, but Jesus’ hand is outstretched waiting to pull you forward.  Sometimes there is nothing huge happening in your life, but you still feel stuck. It could be comparison, too much bad news, or our unmet expectations that lead us into that pit. The Bible tells us that when our heart is overwhelmed, we need to be led to the rock that is higher than we are. When we are disappointed, we need to be reappointed. When we are discouraged, we need to be encouraged. He is our answer. We pray this episode is an encouragement to you. Listen to your feelings, but discern when they are leading you astray. Run those feelings through the truth of God’s word. Reflect, remember, and let God raise you up out of that pit to a higher place in Him. We are here for you!
