I had a fantastic conversation with Donna Mackenzie-Smyth about her experiences of navigating menopause while recovering from a stroke. We discussed the positives and negatives of those experiences and how she's had to adapt her life to her new needs while not letting anything stop her from being who she is and doing what she loves. Donna has developed an artistic project called Scrapheap - made by and for women experiencing menopause to highlight some of the experiences that women go through, but may not discuss.
