We then talk about his academic career and how he got started at the Oklahoma Historical Society and what the goal of the society is. We talk about his change of careers and what he does as the Tribal Historic Preservation Officer. Matt and Carlton then detail their experience at the 2021 Plains Conference in Boulder, Colorado.
