A Day in the Life of a COVID-19 Compliance Officer

For three months, the television and film industry in Georgia stood still. No one worked and many had to find other means of employment to make ends meet. Through the joint development of the Unions and Guilds, as well as leading epidemiologists and experts, the creation of "The Safe Way Forward" established a detailed set of science-based protocols serving as a path for Employers to uphold their responsibility of providing safe workspaces. The Guidelines also served as a necessary element of a return to work for Unions and Guilds representing films and television casts and crews.One of the things that evolved were the positions of a COVID-19 Compliance Officer, which is what I do.
