On this episode we’re talking Lydia & Jarrod Lucca, along with their two daughters Hattie & Alieda. You may remember the ending of our last interview with Pete Long (cabin designer, and the designer behind Cozy Rock) where I asked him ‘What would you like to see more of in the world of cabins and cabin culture?’ His response was more people like Lydia and Jarrod, a couple out of Minnesota who have spent the last two years building their dream cabin from scratch, by themselves, learning a lot of the skills along the way. It’s certainly not their first project as a team, but is their largest to date, and in today’s conversation we talk through a lot of the details from project planning, to budgeting, to how to survive, and maybe even thrive, during a build.
