A Farewell to Arms chapter TWENTY-FIVE

Frederick Henry was severely wounded, transported to Milano for treatment where he reunited with Catherine, underwent knee surgery, & spent the summer doing physical therapy & entertaining himself. As if that weren’t enough, he was diagnosed with jaundice, lost his convalescent leave, discovered that he now has an alcohol use disorder & a baby on the way. Now separated from his emerging family, he was sent back to the front line of the war; only God knows what will happen next… In this episode, we will continue reading Ernest Hemingway’s novel A Farewell to Arms.
