The Lake Lure Flowering Bridge in Chimney Rock, North Carolina has always been a special place. It was created, built and maintained by all volunteers. Over time it came to be part of the entire community. Then in September of 2024 Hurricane Helene came through. This is that story. The Bridge is run by volunteers and one of the ways it's funded is through donations. If you would like to make a donation you can do so by clicking here.
