Breaking news! Reports have come out that Hyper Potions sold all over Kanto are being recalled. The bad batch of Hyper Potions is making Pokemon everywhere dance the Macarena uncontrollably! Many have been hospitalised. In Pewter City a dancing Onix took out a laundromat. This week on To Kill A Delibird, we’ve got the scoop on more scams, grifts and shoddy production incidents shaking the Pokemon universe! Our investigation is inspired by the episodes reviewed: Ep. 70, “Make Room for Gloom” and Ep. 71, “Lights, Camera, Quack-tion”! After the highs of Pokemon: The First Movie, we thought we might be dealing with an anime hangover, but these filler episodes were still a ton of fun to discuss. In the first episode, we learn that Ash’s Mom is tougher than any Pokemon master. In the second episode, we meet a character named Cleavon Schpielbunk.
