Anna Davel has firmly established herself as a highly accomplished and respected singer/songwriter with a music career spanning more than 30 years. Her solo Shirley Bassey tribute “Diamonds” was nominated for Best Music production at Aardklop 2019 National Arts festival and her most recent production ‘Ek wens, Ek wens (co-producer with Alexa Strachan) won the award for ‘Best overall production’ at the Aardklop National festival 2021. She compiled and directed the production “Mixtape van die liefde” and the production won the prize for ‘Best overall production’ during the Aardklop National Arts festival in 2023. Anna continues to perform, direct and create exciting theatre and stage productions and to team up with South Africa’s best actors, singers and musicians to enthral audiences with the universal language of music.
