In this episode of Shoujo Sundae, Chika, Giana, and the Anibaes review episodes nineteen through twenty-one of Fruits Basket (2019). In episode 19, the interpretation of the Sohma’s acceptance, or lack thereof, of Ritsu’s identity differs amongst the ladies. Ritsu’s gift of books about fruit as opposed to actual fruit for Tohru also banana splits the ladies’ (mainly Giana’s) opinions.
