We have a particular need for acceptance by those in authority and who we want to be friends with. Being accepted leads to being treated with respect and afford status of some kind. Acceptance brings closeness. When people know that you accept them, trust develops. They open up more to you, and a closer bond develops. Although we set our criteria for acceptance and make adjustments to be accepted, one question comes to mind; why can't God have a criteria?This powerful episode takes us on a personal journey with Mike and Talesha as they share their struggles with acceptance and overcoming the need to compromise to fit in.
