Acts - Ordinary Men

Acts emphasizes that God has always carried out His plan for the Church through ordinary people who are empowered by the Holy Spirit. Peter and John were uneducated, common men who boldly proclaimed Jesus after healing a crippled man, even when faced with arrest, threats, and opposition from religious authorities. Their courage and authority astonished leaders because it was clear they had been with Jesus, showing that strong faith, time spent with Christ, and reliance on the Holy Spirit enable ordinary believers to do extraordinary work, persevere under pressure, and faithfully share the gospel despite cultural or political resistance.
