Adam Sud | Nutrition For Addiction

from Divine Lifestyles · host Tara Magalski

“If I am the cause of my problem, I am also the solution.” After seeing him speak at a sober living facility, I knew That God had brought Adam Sud into my life for a higher purpose. Adam is a holistic lifestyle coach for recovering addicts where he teaches nutrition and wellness as methods of relapse prevention and today he will share with us his journey of recovery and his path to holistic health and healing. When Adam checked in to a recovery facility, he was a three-hundred pound, amphetamine addicted Type-2 diabetic. Although he had a happy childhood in Houston, Texas, he felt pressure from his family to live a healthy lifestyle. But sometimes, as children, when we hear that Oreos are bad for us what we really internalize is that we are bad for wanting that food in the first place. Adam developed self-image issues resulting in a junk food and drug dependency.“The best medicine is always what’s on your fork.” Adam SudCLICK TO TWEETWithin just six months of checking in to a recovery facility, Adam reversed his diabetes, got down to one hundred and seventy pounds, and is now celebrating two and half years sober. As Adam changed his lifestyle, he began to recognize his self-worth and has now started to shine his light of awareness and wellness onto others.I really identify with Adam’s story as I’ve seen with my own eyes the way that recovering drug addicts can transfer from one addiction to another. Food is an addiction. Feed your body what is clean, pure, and real and that will translate to your mind, body, and spirit. At the end of the day, your lifestyle habits do not reflect or define who you are as a person. With the right positive changes, you can allow your true self to shine through.“Movement matters.”LISTEN TO THE PODCAST  WATCH THE PODCAST   [email protected] 731 0245
