Addressing the Lack of Diversity in Business - Ep #17

from Video Visibility with Alicia

In this episode, I address the lack of diversity in business.  This episode has been a long time coming and needed to be addressed especially with the current climate that we are in.   There's a lack of diversity in business overall.  As a Black woman, for me, it feels that there is never a seat at the table for us.  We are often overlooked and left out of things.  It feels as we are shouting to be included and heard and it always comes across as us being angry or bitter.   In this episode, I give a  look into my thoughts as to why I feel the lack of diversity in business needs to change, why others have little to no diversity in their business, and how to include diversity without tokenism.   I hope you listen to this episode with an open mind and heart.     For research Google: Emmitt Till White Fragility    Organizations to donate to: NAACP Black Lives Matter Black Girls Code I encourage you to dig deep and see how you can be apart of the solution to helping to amplify the voices of Black women and Women of Color.  Thanks for listening!
