The AIM Centre in Sligo was officially by Enterprise Minister Simon Coveney this afternoon. The centre, which serves the entire northwest region, has a primary focus on supporting industry with the adoption of digital technology and smart manufacturing. It's a project driven by ATU, Sligo County Council and Leitrim County Council and is supported by the Department of Enterprise Trade and Employment administered through Enterprise Ireland. Minister Coveney has been telling Ocean FM that he feels that the new centre will be a real game changer for the region:
