2020, in my opinion, was an amazing year for ambient music. I don't know if it was simply the right conditions due to the pandemic and producers being stuck at home, or if I'm just starting to notice stuff more, but I ended up buying more ambient than I ever have. I have loads of it on wishlists for future purchases as well on Bandcamp and record store sites. For this mix, I compiled some of my favorite ambient tracks that I bought on vinyl this year, all of which I believe were released this year. There are so many good ambient releases that aren't released on vinyl, so I wouldn't necessarily consider all of these my top favorites of the year, but they're all certainly up there.
