Alexander Pichushkin, también conocido como el "Ajedrecista Asesino" o el "Maníaco del Ajedrez", es un criminal ruso que cometió una serie de brutales asesinatos en Moscú entre 1992 y 2006. Nacido el 9 de abril de 1974 en Mytishchi, una ciudad cercana a Moscú, Pichushkin tuvo una infancia difícil marcada por la pérdida de su hermana y el abandono de su padre. El modus operandi de Pichushkin era particularmente violento y macabro. Su objetivo declarado era asesinar a tantas personas como casillas en un tablero de ajedrez, un total de 64.
