We kick off with 'Alien', directed by Ridley Scott, and 'Aliens', directed by James Cameron, comparing and contrasting the genres, stories, characters and discussing which one we like the best. Watch out- Laura will go on, at length, about how Ripley is the best female action/horror hero in history- but we do get in some discussion about monsters, sci-fi horror, and some technical stuff from Ryan about filming and camera techniques!
