Allegations of Donegal County Council secretly changing redress applications

Allegations have been made that Donegal County Council secretly altered over 20 applications of those who were looking for remediation through the defective concrete block scheme.In an article published in The Ditch this morning, allegations were made that 21 applications were changed from full demolition, as recommended by engineers, to a mixture of less expensive options.The article also states that Donegal County Council claim that these changes were down to a minor technical glitch, and that all affected applications have since been changed to their original recommendations.Sinn Fein group leader in Donegal County Council, Cllr Gary Doherty, says definitive answers are needed.>*Donegal County Council have been contacted by Ocean FM News for comment.
