ALZHEIMER'S AWARENESS MONTH | Nov. 1

from Golf Today · host Golf Channel

This November, we recognize Alzheimer's Awareness Month to honor the legacy of our friend and colleague Tim Rosaforte; who passed away because of the disease earlier this year. CBS Sports commentator Jim Nantz lost his father to Alzheimer's over a decade ago and has since become an advocate for Alzheimer's awareness and a champion for finding a cure. Nantz joins the show to discuss the work his foundation has done to further research and alternative treatments for the disease. Back on the golf course, Jordan Smith shot a remarkable -30 at the Portugal Masters last weekend to win for the second time on the DP World Tour. The Englishman joins the program to discuss a win that he hopes gets him on a roll as the Race to Dubai heats up. And the wrap-around season continues for the PGA TOUR at Mayakoba, Mexico! Some of golf's biggest names have headed south of the border to tee it up at the World Wide Technologies Open at Mayakoba, including Tony Finau. Our crew discusses Finau's career year in 2022 and how he brings it to the next level coming into another Ryder Cup year. Jordan Smith (16:37) Jim Nantz (58:46) Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See https://pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.
