America Is Lost Prologue: The Intensity of Poetry

This is the original prologue to the mock epic poem titled The Quest of Psychelapse. Originally written in 1984, the parody within this poem uncannily predicted the presidential victory of Joe Biden in 2020. The Mock Epic poem became a two part poem with the second one being written in November 2020 after the election. Completed on 30 November, 2020, the second part of this epic predicted the capitol insurrection that occurred on January 6, 2021.The music for this episode is by TrackTribe and titled: Dusk 'til Dawn. It appropriately fits this segment because much of the poetry for part one was actually written in the late evening and early morning hours on a Smith Corona Memory Correct II typewriter that was later sold at a rummage sale. Go figure.
