Amtrak Announces New Miami Route — What You Need to Know

Amtrak is introducing a new long-distance train route, the Floridian, which will run from Chicago to Miami starting in November. This route will combine existing segments of the Capitol Limited and Silver Star lines while construction on the East River Tunnel in New York takes place. The Floridian will offer various seating options, including coach, Roomettes, and private bedrooms, with amenities such as complimentary meals, lounge access, and priority boarding. The new route will operate daily and offer stops in several major cities along the way, including Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Washington, D.C., Orlando, and Tampa.
