Make sure the aim isn’t on you - Submitting your will and desires, while laying aside personal pride, allows you to model Christ's example for your family. 3). Make sure the aim is on God - Emphasizing His principles over cultural expectations helps protect against the contamination that culture has on shaping our view of what family should look like.
