There are many roles in the music business that go unheralded, from the security people to the hard working people that staff venues, drive vehicles and set up stages. Another area that is often overlooked is investors, especially in these days of self financing and self release. I met Andy Hillier and Phil Oldcorn through mutual friends and they were introduced to myself and Rob Town as investors in music who were wanting to develop new talent. What followed was to form the foundations of a continuing relationship with two of the most passionate music fans I have ever met, whose success as business people has allowed them to pursue that passion by genuinely putting their money where their mouths are and by jumping into the trenches of music and art development and having the guts to take a chance.  In this incredibly revealing and honest podcast, Andy and Phil talk about their motivations, dreams and approaches to working in the modern music business.
