Grant Schofield's Bio: Grant is a Professor of Public Health at AUT University and a consultant in Peak Performance for Vitality Works New zealand's largest workplace health provider. Grant has 25 years research experience in physical activity, nutrition, obesity and diabetes, and well being research. He has an interste in low carb nutrition for both health and human performance. He originally was trained as a psychologist, but has spent most of his career in the world of "human potential" - helping people be the best they can be, whether that be weight loss or peak performance. Professor Schofield's research centre "The Human Potential Centre" represents a group of professional researchers in the field of nutrition (mainly low carb high fat nutrition), exercise and health, and applied positive psychology. They have been involved in hundreds of research papers over the past decade and more than $22 million in research funding. He has represented New Zealand in age group and professional triathlon.
