Appeals are being made for road users to drive safely this Bank Holiday weekend.The Road Safety Authority have asked drivers to slow down, not drink and drive, and to put away their mobile phones.18 people have lost their lives so far this year on Irish roads, with the latest incident coming this week in Carlow, when three young people were killed in a single car collision.Sinn Fein Transport Spokesperson, Martin Kenny, has urged people to take responsibility for their actions on the roads this weekend.
