Appeals made to take more care on Irish roads

In the first six months of this year, there have been 84 deaths on Irish roads.2023 recorded the highest number of road deaths in almost a decade, with 184.Cathaoirleach of Donegal County Council, Martin Harley, lost his own daughter in a crash ten years ago.The council holds a road safety campaign for students across the county each year, to raise awareness and show the dangers of irresponsible driving.Harley says it's important to show kids the effects this has on families and their lives.
